Thirroul Junior Football Club has more than 400 juniors in teams from Under 6s to Under 18s. The club's aim is to foster football by creating an environment for our Thunderbolts players where success is judged - not by winning - but by having fun, improving skills and participating in a club that is active within the community.

FSC WIN NETWORK WINTER ACADEMY

FSC is one of the few association in NSW to have its own Academy.  The Junior Academy is for both boys and girls aged 6 to 12 years field players and 10 to 15 years goal keepers.

It is a development program aligned to FFA pathways, aimed at players who can train intensively with FSC highly experienced coaches.  

Academies are provided across a number of geographic locations including Wollongong (Central), Barrack Heights (Southern) and Bulli (Northern) 

The Academy also provides specialised coaching for Goal Keepers at Wollongong (Central) on Monday night only and is offered during all term Academies.  During Spring and Summer Academy an additional Goal Keeper Academy is offered at Barrack Heights (Southern) on Thursday night.  

Please note below the dates of our Academy for the coming 2016 season:

Winter Academy 2016 18 July - 8 September

Spring Academy 2016

10 October - 7December

The Academy is run generally, over 8-10 sessions/weeks.

FSC WIN Network Junior Academy is run at three (3) locations as below

Northern Academy - 2016

Venue:     Bulli Park, Bulli 

Days:       Monday & Wednesday - Boys & Girls mixed Academy (Summer & Spring)

               Monday Only - Boys & Girls mixed Academy  (Autumn & Winter) - Places are limited

Times:      5.30pm to 6:45pm

Coaches:   Paul Jones, Paul Robaard, Lily Dillinger, Michael Panozzo, Alan Sheldrick

Southern Academy - 2016

Venue:     Barrack Heights Sports Field, Barrack Heights

Days:      Monday - Boys & Girls mixed Academy

              Thursday - All Girls Academy (Spring & Summer only)

              Thursday - Goal Keeper Academy (Spring & Summer only)

              Thursday - Boys & Girls mixed Academy (Spring & Summer only)

Times:     5pm to 6.15pm

Coaches:  Michael Southwell, Matt Hood, Brendon Fotheringham, Jason Jovanovski, Daniel Naumovski, Paul Southern (GK)

Central Academy - 2016

Venue:     Kooloobong Oval, Keiraville

Days:       Monday - Goal keeper Academy

              Monday or Wednesday and/or Monday & Wednesday - Boys & Girls mixed Academy

Times:     5.00pm to 6.15pm

Coaches:  Alex Waters, Anastasia Srbnovski, Phil Saudners, Paul Robaards, Scott Regent, Neil Mineeff, Paul Southern (GK).

All registrations are required via www.myfootballclub.com.au for existing and new players.

It is important to note that payment is required prior to the commencement  however, we understand that in some cases this may be difficult and ask that payment be made no later than 2 weeks into the Academy.  All players will be marked off by the coaches.

PAYMENTS

Winter Academy cost are as follows;

1 session per week for 8 sessions/weeks on Monday or Wednesday $160

2 sessions per week for 16 sessions/weeks $320

As part of FSC Academy it is compulsory that all children participating wear the Football South Coast Academy uniform. The FSC Junior Academy uniform is available for purchase from our office at a cost of $85 which includes; Training Shirt, Training Short and Socks. These garments can be purchased and collected from the Football South Coast Office.

For all the children that have been participating in our Academies who have the gear already and would like additional gear the cost is as follows; Training Shirt $40, Training Short $35 and Socks $10.

Optional FSC Hoodie can be ordered for $50. 

FSC offer several alternatives for Academy Term payments, they are as follows;
