Thirroul Gibson Park Rangers or GPR was formed in 2007. The name Gibson Park Rangers or GPR derives from a soccer team in England called Queens Park Rangers or QPR and fittingly Thirroul have the same colour’s as the QPR of blue and white but QPR have hoop’s therefore the GPR changed its outfit to include the blue and white hoop’s. Leon Mar a GPR foundation member took control until the end of the 2014 season and is still the current manager. The GPR Hoops were winners of the 2017 Masters Division 4 grand final and 2018 Masters Division 3 League Champions and grand finalists.
