Thunder & Thunderbirds 2020 Senior Presentation

2020 is a year like no other and one in which we’ve had to continually adapt. The TJFC senior presentation was no different. Due to Covid restrictions we had planned A Night On The Green but the forecast thunder storms meant the presentation was moved indoors and before we had even begun a power pole servicing Club Thirroul caught fire. We were told it could be only 20 minutes until the electricity was totally turned off. Club Thirroul managed to get meals served and Peter Harkin raced through the awards before we had to leave but the party continued at the club house, where the DJ set up and played tunes into the night. Just a few months ago many were doubting we would play at all this season, let alone have a presentation for 120 people, so it’s been remarkable what we have all achieved.
