Thirroul Junior Football Club has more than 400 juniors in teams from Under 6s to Under 18s. The club's aim is to foster football by creating an environment for our Thunderbolts players where success is judged - not by winning - but by having fun, improving skills and participating in a club that is active within the community.

TJFC 2022 update: Committee vacancies/fees set at AGM

Thirroul JFC is pleased to announce the 2022 committee elected at the club’s AGM on Sunday, 19 December 2021.

However, a number of key positions remain unfilled, including:

  • Registrar (this could be a shared position)

  • Treasurer (Peter Harkin will continue in an interim capacity)

  • Club Coach

  • Maintenance Committee (this role is too big for one person)

Registration for the 2022 season will open in early January and there will be Junior Registration Sessions at Club Thirroul on Saturday, 6 February (9am to 12pm) and Tuesday 8 February (6pm to 8pm).

The first point of business for the 2022 TJF committee was to set the cost if registration fees for next season.

The committee decided that there should be no increase to the cost of registration for junior and senior players in 2022, with the club to absorb an increase in the insurance component of playing fees.

The Annual General Meeting of Thirroul Junior Football Club will be held on Sunday, 19 December, 2021.

The meeting will commence at 10am at Club Thirroul, Station Street, Thirroul.

  • Senior Men’s Amateur Player representative

  • Club Coach

  • Referee’s Coordinator

  • Football Sub-Committee Chairperson

  • Maintenance Coordinator

  • Gear Coordinator

Nominations must be made in accordance with the Club Rules.

Nominators and nominees must be full club members or life members.

Nominations close at 5pm Friday, 17 December and should be made using the Club Committee Nomination form, which can be obtained by clicking here.
